Kanga League: Parel Sporting bowl out SPG for 88

Shivaji Park Gymkhana endured a disappointing day as they were bundled out for 88 runs by Parel Sporting Club on the first day of the second league match of the Dr HD Kanga Cricket League at Azad Maidan on Saturday.

Left-arm spinner Vijay Gohil was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 4-25 while medium pacer Gautam Yadav took 3-12. Leg spinner Omkar Jadhav claimed 3-11.


In other ‘A’ Division encounters, Iqbal Abdulla, playing for DY Patil, scored an unbeaten 59 against Parkophene Cricketers to take his team to 155-5. Srikanth Limbole hit 54 for Greater Mumbai Police Sports Club to help his team reach 135-3 against National Cricket Club.u00a0
