Not to be deterred, BBC One is reportedly going to convince Andy's mum, Judy, to compete in this year's edition instead. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Judy would be great. It's wonderful that she's such a fan. Kim has declined. We would love a Murray in some form."
Judy's close friend and former tennis ace Andrew Castle - who took part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2008 said, "She's a huge 'Strictly' nut and would love to do the show. I reckon she'd surprise people. I'm sure she's got the moves."
Castle believes Wimbledon champ Andy would be supportive of his mother. He joked: "Andy would be supportive but might be embarrassed and have to watch through his fingers."
