Alok Kumar admitted he was surprised at upsetting defending champion Pankaj Advani in the quarter-finals of the Senior National snooker championship yesterday.
Kumar, who beat Advanai in a marathon match 5-2, later said:u00a0
"I was mediocre. I didn't play well nor did Pankaj. In fact, I am surprised that I have reached the semi-finals."
Advani claimed nothing went right for him. "I was just not in the match today and played poor snooker, may be 30 per cent of what I could," he said.
