Deviprasad Poojary’s doubles strikes saw Mumbai United register a comfortable 2-0 win over Village Amboli in a Div-II match of the MDFA League at St Xavier’s Ground in Parel yesterday. Poojary scored his first goal in the 30th minute and doubled the margin five minutes later.

In another match, Utkarsh Mandal also recorded a 2-0 win, against Sagar Mitra Mandal ‘B’.

After barren first half, Prashant Rane struck the opening early in the second half before Ankit Shinde doubled the lead soon after.
