Madhav Mantri XI clinched the 4th Vijay Tulpule Cup U-13 tournament on the basis of better quotient. Vasu Paranjape XI and Mantri XI were tied on seven points each, but the latter were declared winners at Matunga yesterday.
In the last league match, Mantri XI restricted Ramnath Kenny XI to 160-7 with Manit Dakshini top-scoring with 38. Later, Raj Deshmukh’s 68 and Ayush Mhatre’s 42 helped Mantri XI chase down the target in 30.3 overs.
