Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius is reportedly trying to negotiate an out-of-court compensation deal with the parents of his slain lover Reeva Steenkamp, according to a report in The Times.
The daily also added that his lawyers are keen to have the matter settled before Pistorius’ trial opens on March 3 next year.
The Steenkamp family lawyer Petrus de Bruyn confirmed to the daily that discussions were underway, but refused to divulge any other details.u00a0
