Prithvi, whose brilliant performances in the tournament helped his team clinch the Mumbai leg of the tournament, was named theu00a0 man of the match for his 110-run knock (13x4, 1x6).
Prithvi, who was adjudged man of the series for his overall performance of 225 runs and six wickets, said: "I had a great season. It was indeed satisfying to help my team lift the fourth title in the U-16 this season." Rizvi also won the Harris Shield, Khichadia Trophy and Ghosh Trophy this season.
Earlier, Rizvi posted 245-7 in the stipulated 40 overs, after winning the toss and electing to bat. Rizvi spin duo Sidak Singh (2-25) and Salman Khan (2-43) then bundled out Anjuman for 179 in 35.4 overs. Mehboob Shaikh (71) was the highest scorer for Anjuman.
Rizvi Springfield was awarded a cash prize of R50,000, while runners-up Anjuman I-Islam was awarded R35,000. Rizvi skipper Armaan Jaffer was named the best batsman of the tournamen while IES Raja Shivaji's Laxman Manjrekar was adjudged best bowler.
