Rs 1500 base price for Indian GP tickets

Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix organisers on Saturday launched the three-day and race day tickets together for the first time, with the cheapest Sunday ticket priced at Rs 1,500.

The cheapest three-day ticket will cost Rs 2,000. Promoters Jaypee Sports International (JPSI) are aiming for a bigger crowd than the 2012 edition at the Buddh International Circuit where the turnout dropped to 60,000 from the 95,000 seen in the inaugural edition.

That is one of the reasons why they have introduced optional pricing.u00a0
