Melbourne: A local Russian beauty queen, Olga Kuzkova (right), who was chosen by CSKA Moscow to represent their team in the Miss Russia Premier League beauty contest, was stripped off her title for her racist posts. The issue erupted as her photos were shared from Vkontakte, a Russian social media site. Among the images was one of Kuzkova dressed in a maid’s outfit with a swastika armband and a message referencing Jews being incinerated.
Another snap featured a dog chewing on a statuette appearing to be an African-American baseball player. CSKA fans created a Facebook campaign to strip Kuzkova of her title and Russian Premier League authorities agreed.
