Sania-Vesnina sail into Aus Open Round Two

Melbourne Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina (Russia) entered the second round of the Australian Open women's doubles with a super 6-0, 6-2 victory over Greece's Eleni Daniilidou and Alexandra Panova of Russia here yesterday.

The sixth seeded pair sent their unseeded opponents packing in just 50 minutes. The victorious pair won 54 points as compared to 26 by Daniilidou and Panova. Sania made up for her singles loss to Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova.
