It was the bowling performances of Al-Barkaat MMI's (Kurla) Sardar brothers — Mukund (medium pacer) and Rajesh (left-arm spinner) — that stood out in the semi-final match. In the first essay, Mukund's 5-17 and Rajesh's 3-17 ensured that the Dadar school were bowled out for 88 runs. Al-Barkaat then got out on 155, with Shubham Singh scoring 40 runs.

In the second essay, Rajesh came back to scalp four Sule Guruji wickets — Vaishnav Narvekar (9), Ninad Thakur (0), Fahad Patel (0) and Dhruva Vedak (5) — in 15 overs where he conceded a paltry 15 runs.

Mukund, not one to be left out, scalped two crucial Sule Guruji wickets of Jayesh Mohite (1) and Nisarg Atak (0) as the Dadar School got out for 70 runs in the second innings. With just four runs to win, the Kurla team reached the target in 1.1 overs.
