Having led the teams into the semi-finals, Jury and his side squashed the challenge from Indian ace Farokh Tarapore 2-0 in the best-of-three race affair and then went on to demolish the Brazilian squad led by Enrique Haddad 3-0 in the best-of-five final to emerge worthy winners.
Earlier, in the round of four, India's highest ranked match racer R Mahesh and team, also the defending champions, came a cropper against the Brazilians, losing 0-2.
