Top seed Robin Soderling battled back from a set down to beat Spain's David Ferrer in the Baastad ATP clay court tournament on Saturday and set up a final clash with Nicolas Almagro

Sweden's Soderling, the World No 5 and French Open runner-up, saw off Ferrer 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, a day after also requiring three sets to see off Italy's Andreas Seppi.
Fourth seed Almagro eased past fellow Spaniard Tommy Robredo 6-1, 6-3. Soderling leads his career head-to-head with Almagro 3-2, but the Spaniard won their last meeting on clay in Madrid in May.

Meanwhile, World No 1 Serena Williams has been forced to withdraw from the WTA Tour events in Istanbul, Cincinnati, and Montreal after hurting her foot stepping on broken glass at a restaurant.
"I'm so upset I won't be able to play in the upcoming events because of this foot surgery. Thank you for all of your support.
I can't wait to get back on the courts," Williams said in a statement. Williams was cut on her right foot by the broken glass while at a restaurant.
