"No, no one is invincible. We have a good record but no one is invincible, we have indeed lost a match in this competition (against Switzerland)," the former Valencia striker said, according to Spanish sports daily Marca.
"I want to score goals and continue to help Spain. We have reached the semi-finals and now we have a chance to reach the final. To keep the dream alive, we have to eliminate Germany.
"It is clear from the last few games we've seen that they (Germany) have played very comfortably when they have been ahead on the scoreboard. They play very well on the counter, their players are very quick.
"Maybe that is what we fear most but they are a great team and have many things to be afraid of."
The former Valencia forward, who has scored five times in the World Cup so far, is also aware that Spain are on the brink of creating history.
"Yeah, we know that until today, our country has not achieved what we can achieve tonight (reach the final of the World Cup)," he added.
"I hope that Wednesday is a great day for Spanish football and for our country, that when the game is over, we can say that we are in the final."
