St Mary's High School (Dahisar) fought a tough Nike-MSSA inter-school football match against St Xavier's (Vile Parle) and emerged 5-4 victors via tie-breaker after the match was tied 2-2 at the end of regulation time.

The Dahisar school's coachu00a0 Pratap Gawand however was not too happy after the win saw his team enter the Under-16 Division III semi-finals.u00a0
He later explained why. "We always reach the semi-finals but never win it. This year too we have reached the semi-final, so it's nothing different. I will only be happy if we can go on to win the semi-final. And of course after that,u00a0 the final," said Gawand.
In a nerve-racking quarter-final St Mary's took the lead on both occasionsu00a0first through Nishit Ghagnada and then Lalit Prajapati. The Dahisar boys though came back strongly with Francis D'Silva and Kevin Joseph getting their names on the score sheet to take the match into the tie-breaker.
