The 18-time Olympic gold medal winner completed his probation Sunday after pleading guilty in 2014 to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
A one-year prison sentence was suspended but Phelps received 18 months probation. Phelps, who turns 31 on June 30, spent 45 days in a rehabilitation facility.
