Later Bijlana looked distraught but tried to put on a brave face. "It was difficult to watch, my stomach was churning. Janko did not play well. I think the exertions of his arduous three-set quarterfinal win must have taken its toll," she said.
So where did the Serbian beauty meet her tennis-playing boyfriend? "It was through a mutual friend at a party in Novi Sad four years ago. The friendship grew into love. We are planning to wed on July 4," said the svelte TV presenter from Belgrade.
Tipsarevic is a pretty intense person, but Biljana sees a funny side to him. "Yes, he is funny, good and kind. These attributes attracted me to him," she said.
She however does not share his passion for difficult authors like Dostoevsky. "I don't read him, but I do like books." She also shares the same interest as the World No 38.u00a0 "We both like to go snowboarding and skiing whenever he has time off the Tour."
She likes the dress sense of Indian women.
"I like the kurtas and salwar kameez. They look so chic." Biljana is also a fan of Indian food. "It's very good but I find it a bit too spicy."
The 26-year-old is not a constant travelling companion.u00a0 "I go with Janko for a few tournaments as I am also a very busy working woman."
