Two men were in custody after West Ham defender Calum Davenport was stabbed in both legs.
A 25-year-old man was held in Derby on suspicion of attempted murder after the attack on Davenport at his home in Bedford. Also, a 19-year-old who was arrested earlier remains in custody in the Greyfriars police station.
