Mexican international striker Antonio De Nigris who played for Greek first division club Larissa has died of a suspected heart attack, the club announced yesterday.

During his much-travelled career, De Nigris spent a short time with Spanish side Villarreal. Javi Venta hasu00a0 revealed the shock with which Villarreal received the tragic news. "It took us by surprise, and Antonio's death really upset us.
