Singapore: Slovakia’s Dominika Cibulkova timed her run to perfection to overhaul a weary Svetlana Kuznetsova and reach the final of the WTA end-of-season championships for the first time with a heart-stopping 1-6, 7-6, 6-4 victory on Saturday.
“It’s just amazing. It’s my first time playing the finals. For me it’s one of my dreams come true. It’s just incredible,” Cibulkova said. “I cannot describe in words how much it means. You work all your life for this, it just feels great.”
