We can beat Spain: Germany striker Miroslav Klose

German striker Miroslav Klose insisted that semi-final opponents Spain are not invincible, and insists die Mannschaft have improved considerably since their meeting in the Euro 2008 final.

Fernando Torres clinched the title for Luis Aragones' side, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory, but in South Africa, Germany have been one of the most attractive sides, disposing of England and Argentina in impressive fashion.

Speaking in a press conference today, Bayern Munich striker Klose, who has four goals at the competition already, reckons that although Spain are superior to the teams that Germany have already vanquished, they remain beatable.

"Spain are definitely better than England and Argentina. They are a fantastic team. I saw a replay of their match against Paraguay, and it revealed that Spain is not invincible, and not unstoppable," he said.

"We can locate and exploit their weaknesses."

Klose also added that the last meeting between the sides in that European final will have no bearing on the Wednesday's match.

"You cannot compare the two games. The teams have changed, there are different players, and I think that we have improved considerably," he added.
