Raikkonen began the season’s first race with a bang. The Finn finished first with McLaren-Mercedes’ Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton finished second and third respectively.


French GP

The Flying Finn took some time to register his second win with Ferrari. It was a Ferrari 1-2 here with teammate Felipe Massa finishing in second spot. McLaren’s Hamilton was third.


British GP

In another stunning Raikkonen finished ahead of the Mclaren-Mercedes team once again. Mclarens’ Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton finished second and third respectively.


Belgian GP

It was a Ferrari 1-2 once again as Raikkonen and teammate Felipe Massa finished in the first and second spot respectively. Mclaren-Mercedes’ finished in third place.

Chinese GP

Raikkonen’s Ferrari was once again hotly chased by Mclaren-Mercedes’ Fernando Alonso who eventually finished in second place. Ferrari’s Massa came home in third spot.

Brazilian GP

Raikkonen won the season’s last race to become world champion with 110 points — one point more than McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton (109 pts). Ferrari (204 pts) won the constructors’ prize . u00a0
