Tiger Woods got his US PGA Tour playoff bid back on track with a six-under 65 in the second round of the Deutsche Bank Championship on Saturday.
Woods, three shots below the projected cut line going into the second round, birdied four of the first seven holes at the TPC Boston. He picked up two more shots coming in, capping his bogey-free round with a birdie at 18 that put him in the middle of the field.
Woods' early tee time was an advantage, as the gusting winds that kicked up during his round could make for higher scores among the later starters.
Woods came into the tournament ranked 65th in the US tour's FedEx Cup playoff standings.
