USA's Jason Richardson yesterday won the 110m hurdles world crown when Olympic champion Dayron Robles was sensationally stripped of his title after crossing the line in first place.
Robles won a thrilling race in 13.14sec, edging out Richardson by just 0.02sec but the Cuban made contact with China's Liu Xiang. A protest by China on behalf of Liu was upheld. Liu (13.27sec) was promoted to silver from bronze with Brit Andy Turner (13.44sec) taking bronze.
