Adrian Sutil penalised

Force India's Adrian Sutil will start today's Japanese GP dead last after a disappointing qualifying result was aggravated by a five place grid penalty triggered by an unscheduled gearbox change.

Listen to this article :

Sutil damaged his gearbox in Saturday morning’s practice after the German made a mistake that saw him lose traction and swerve across the track and into the barriers at the exit of the challenging Spoon corner.

Sutil’s teammate Paul Di Resta fared much better, setting the twelfth fastest time but still giving himself a solid chance of scoring points in the race today.u00a0
