Top seed Aditya Khanna kept himself in line for a double, entering the semi-finals of the men’s singles and doubles of the Taste’L GSTA S200 ITF Mumbai on Tuesday. Fancied Nitin Kirrtane also kept himself on course in the men’s 40-plus singles and doubles, entering the quarter-finals. Kirrtane hardly broke a sweat before defeating R Sharma 6-1, 6-0 in a third round match.


In the men’s singles quarter-finals, Khanna brushed aside fifth seed Rewant Datta 6-0, 6-2, before pairing up with Vipin Sirpual to get the better of the Ameet A/Vikas Choudhary 6-2, 6-1.


Khanna will take on Girish Mishra for a place in the final, who got the better of Vikas Choudhary 7-5, 3-6, 6-0. Also advancing to the semis was Ajai Selvaraj, who defeated Vipin Sirpaul 6-3, 6-3 to set up a clash with Sandeep Pawar, who upset second seed Vishal Badri 6-1, 6-0.
