Sethiya started with bridal makeup, but found her calling in Bollywood years ago when prosthetics was catching on. She specialises in prosthetics, SFX and HD makeup, creating whole new characters using moulding or adding scar marks on actors for fight sequences. Prosthetics involves lifecasting, making moulds, sculpting and application, while for SFX makeup, a lot of work goes into painting. With HD makeup, used quite frequently on film sets, she helps hide flaws and create a natural, non-dramatic look. Sethiya studied at the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles which specialises in beauty, prosthetics and special effects makeup.
