Can’t get enough of their books and poetry? Get bite-sized wisdom from these new-age Indian wordsmiths on social media

Karuna Ezra Parikh
Words mould stories, give rhythm to poetry, can bring the most distorted of ideas to an accord, and influence generations. But it’s a long wait between books and anthologies of our favourite authors. Luckily, their social media accounts carry their thoughts and words. Here are a few you can follow.
Sitting in Kolkata, Karuna Ezra Parikh combines poetry with storytelling covering themes such as family, friendship, migration, and xenophobia. The author of two books, she has also dabbled in screenwriting. In one of her verses, she writes about the writer’s privilege, “Some poems come easy, some take so much work. I remember writing this one and feeling a release, some sense of triumph.”
