The much-anticipated inauguration of the International Cricket Championship (Tennis Ball) took place on August 24, 2024, at the prestigious Sun N Sand Hotel in Juhu. This grand event saw the participation of several notable figures from the world of entertainment, sports, and entrepreneurship. Bollywood’s youngest colorful filmmaker Manisha Ranawat, took center stage as a prominent guest, underscoring her increasing involvement in sports and national development. Joining her were other high-profile attendees such as Sonal Prahlad Modi, National Guide, and Dr. Goraksh Dhotre, National President of the All-India Media Workers Association.


The event marked the official announcement of the International Cricket Championship, which will take place in January 2025 in Mumbai, featuring teams from 8 different countries. The Indian Cricket Bash, a domestic league structured along the lines of the IPL, was also launched during the ceremony. The league will see renowned brands owning both men’s and women’s teams representing major cities in India. 30 top players from the league will be selected for a national camp, from which fifteen will go on to represent Team India in the championship. The event also saw notable attendees such as Chandru Wadhwa, President Neeraj Dhir, General Secretary Piyali Singhroy, Advisor Chirayush Patel, and Executive Members Ajay Bhasin, Suresh Wavekar, and Manoj Jagtap, their presence emphasized the championship's importance and support for cricket.

Manisha Ranawat expressed her pride in the new generation of cricketers. "I am confident that we will see some outstanding talent emerge from this championship. These new players have the potential to make the nation proud and take India to new heights in international tennis ball cricket,".
