Work in the Bandra-Kurla Complex neighbourhood and keen to give your daily dabba a break? Head to Khaane Bhi Do Yaaron, a lunch pop-up where you can gorge on food cooked by home chefs. The event has been conceptualised by Shagun Peerbhai and Tarang Mohnot, TYBA students at St Xavier's College, who are currently interning with Bombay Connect. Its co-working space at BKC is the venue for the event. "The idea is to help the home chef community display their skills and give the co-working community a chance to taste new cuisines," shares Peerbhai.

The pop-up features eight home chefs; many of whom will bring in regional specialties like Litti Chokha and Dal Pakwan. While Prachi Singh will rustle up the Bihari staple, along with Fried Chicken, Muskaan Kundal will offer the Sindhi item. Dig into Hummus and Stuffed Breads from Anjali Thadani, who caters for high tea parties or try Aakanksha Sadekar's Goan Prawn Cutlets, Malvani Chicken and Rice.

Head to Saiprasad Vishwanathan's stall for Idli Sambar and Curd Rice. Peerbhai's mother, Harsha, will dole out Chicken Pie Sandwiches and Exotic Veg Rolls. End with Red Velvet and Chocolate Brownies from Karishma Kunal's baking venture, BakeWorks, or Geetanjali Sharma's Chocolate Cupcakes with salted caramel. The food is priced between Rs 50 and Rs 150.
