What to enjoy
Four types of beers that can be enjoyed
Marzen Oktoberfestbier
Märzen is the historic forerunner of the Oktoberfestbier and the name comes from March in German. Marzenbier has a malty aroma and is a medium strong beer. It’s seasonal to the Oktoberfest and is offered as a traditional specialty. Slightly different roasting conditions lead to a slightly darker colour and a richer malty taste.
Bavarian Wheat Beer
This German style wheat beer is a summer-time favourite in the Bavarian beer-gardens. This brew is traditionally fermented with a special strain of top-fermenting yeast, which imparts it with a hint of cloves and bananas.
Monty Python
This English pale ale has a delicate mix of fruity, earthy and malty aromas with a slight hint of caramel. Medium-bodied with low carbonation, the English hop character of this pale ale keeps it interesting, yet it’s light enough to enliven your palate.
Adam’s Folly: Hard Cider
A sparkling apple wine made from the juice of sun-ripened apples and matured to perfection with French Champagne-yeast. Semi-dry and defiantly easy-drinking.u00a0
