An employee prepares a 'Rainbow Coloured Toast' cheese sandwich (pictured below) at 'Kala Toast' in the Hong Kong suburb of Tsuen Wan.
The pint-sized shop uses imported coloured cheese, flavoured with lavender, basil and tomato, to create the rainbow effect which is melted into layers of other cheese.
Pictures of the toast have proven to be a social media hit with customers posting images of the multicoloured strings of cheese being stretched apart.
The shop also makes a variety of other cheese toast combinations using ingredients from purple sweet potato to the popular south Asian durian fruit.
