The car that had completely crumpled in the accident

In the wee hours today, as the cops in a police van parked at Girgaum Chowpatty were wondering aloud about it being an incident-free night, they heard a loud crash outside and felt a slight jolt. They rushed out to find a Scorpio car completely crushed with the driver inside badly injured. They immediately took him to GT Hospital.

The police van that only got a dent in a corner

When they returned to the accident site, they were baffled to find that their van had nothing more than a dent in a corner while the car was a complete wreck. They are unsure about what caused the accident, presuming that the driver was speeding. "The impact was so great that it caused the car to disintegrate, yet our van got nothing more than a dent. We are unable to understand what caused the car to crumble so badly," said a police officer, who was present at the site of the accident. As per the initial investigation, it is believed that the driver had hit a speed of at least 100kmph and lost control of the wheel before hitting the van.
