<p>On Monday, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/diwali-2022-mumbaikars-keeping-alive-the-tradition-of-making-kandil-23252063" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai</a> reported 53 new cases of <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-logs-1932-covid-19-cases-seven-deaths-23239227" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19</a> and zero death. The tally of infections increased to 11,53,470, a BMC official said.</p>
<p>The count of recoveries reached 11,32,838. On Monday, 96 patients recovered from the infection.</p>
<p>The BMC also mentioned that Mumbai presently has 894 active cases.</p>

<p>The recovery rate stands at 98.2 per cent, while the doubling rate is 5,717 days, the bulletin stated.</p>
