Mumbai saw a marginal dip in new Covid-19 cases and the test positivity rate on Saturday. However, the number of Covid-19 fatalities saw a slight increase. On Monday, the city had recorded the second wave’s lowest daily cases and fatalities post which there was marginal rise for the next days.
As per the BMC, 262 new cases were registered along with six deaths in Mumbai. Of the six deaths, five patients had comorbidities. Five deaths were in the age group of 60 and above, and one death was reported between 40 and 60 years of age.
