Daily ashram tasks and rituals are being conducted as directed by Swami Nithyananda'.

It is a difficult time. But we are all eagerly awaiting his comeback," said Swami Nithya Pranananda, the ashram spokesperson, who refused to name the eight sadhakasNithya Pranananda revealed that daily ashram tasks like puja at the temple and other rituals were being conducted as per Swamiji's earlier guidance.

"There is no way Swamiji will renounce his saffron robes. When he returns, he will decide if anyone, if at all, would replace him. For the moment he has resigned from the board of trustees.

Swamiji has said he will come whenever his devotees need him. That scandal has not affected our faith in Swamiji. The devotees are all with us. They will never abandon Swami Nithyananda," said Nithya Pranananda.

On March 25, the Karnataka High Court refused to grant anticipatory bail to Swami Nithyananda.

The Swami attracted considerable bad press after a video that allegedly showed him in bed with Tamil actress Ranjitha appeared on various TV news channels.

"The case comes up for argument at the Ramanagaram court on the morning of April 7. He will appear before the police the moment he is granted anticipatory bail," said Chandra Mouli, Swami Nithyananda's lawyer.
