In two separate raids on brothels in Budhwar Peth, the Faraskhana police arrested two brothel owners and rescued 11 girls on Saturday.

The brothel owners were identified as Savita Samarbahadur Thapa (43) and Kancha Nepali (64).

According to the police, the rescued girls were brought to the city with the promise of marriage by pimps from states like Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal and sold to Thapa and Nepali.
