The first carcass was recovered at a place in Jhila jungle under Bagna range office yesterday while another tiger was found dead this morning at a spot very close to where the first tiger was found dead.
In both the cases, fishermen noticed the carcasses and informed the Bagna range office, the officials said.
According to preliminary report, in the first case, the fully grown male tiger died of natural causes. However, details of the second one were not available.
The officials said they were 'baffled' by the fact that two carcasses were found at almost the same spot and added this has to be investigated.
