According to the judge’s order passed on Saturday, Pandey will be monitored by guards and meetings between him and others will be recorded for duration and content. Pandey will pay for the guards' expenses.
However, Pandey is yet to decide whether he will make the trip. He has to take a call by January 18. Special Public Prosecutor Avinash Rasal said, “We’ve told the court that we have no objection in sending him home for the sake of his son's future.”
Pandey was arrested on November 12, 2008, and accused of criminal conspiracy, participating in meetings and having asked another accused, Lt Col Prasad Purohit to arrange for RDX used in the blast that killed 37.
