The board, that had promised to declare the results by Saturday, has now asked students to wait till June 6 when respective colleges would give their mark sheets; many institutes have started admissions based on online results
The Pune division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has failed to keep its promise of declaring the marks of 224 students that were ‘reserved’ last Thursday, the day the online results were declared. The board officials had assured the parents and students of declaring the results latest by Saturday.

Due to a technical snag, the Pune division has not been able to declare results. Last Thursday, the authorities of the divisional board had assured the agitated parents and students of releasing pending results till Saturday. However, nothing of the sort happened.
“This is really frustrating. On Thursday, the officials promised us that they would declare the reserved results by Saturday. But, there is no sign of tat happening even after three hours of waiting,” said Shantanu Joshi, a parent. “Now, they say that we will receive our mark list from respective junior colleges on June 6. But, on the other hand, many colleges have already started BSc admissions based on the online mark statement. This is just not done,” added Joshi.

Pushpalata Pawar, Secretary, Pune division of MSBSHSE said, “We are still in the process of preparing final mark statements of these 224 students whose results are reserved. It will be completed by Monday. However, declaring the result is state board’s job. That’s why it is better if these students wait till June 6. All of them will definitely get their mark lists on June 6 at their respective junior colleges.” Incidentally, out of these 224 students, many are from interior parts of Pune, Ahmednagar and Solapur districts. Still, the state board has, till date, not published any detailed notification clarifying the reasons for keeping some results on hold because of some technical fault.
