26/11 case: India welcomes presenting of evidence in Pak court

"It is certainly welcome but it needs to be accepted by the court. Once it is accepted and there is conviction, we will have some sense of relief and satisfaction," External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid told reporters here.u00a0

He was responding to a question whether he sees as a forward movement by Pakistan in presenting evidence by its Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on 26/11 Mumbai attack to the court there.

Photographs of Lashkar-e-Taiba training camps in Sindh and motorboats used by the 10 terrorists who attacked Mumbai are among evidence presented to a Pakistan anti-terrorism court conducting the trial of seven Pakistanis charged with involvement in the 2008 strikes.

"India has noted this week that it has happened. It seems that the evidence been provided has been shared by the media, there must be some good reason," he said.u00a0
