265 live cartridges found near school in Ludhiana

Ahead of Independence Day, 265 live cartridges including those which could be used in assault rifle AK-47 were found along the boundary wall of a school in Civil Lines area here

Ludhiana: Ahead of Independence Day, 265 live cartridges including those which could be used in assault rifle AK-47 were found along the boundary wall of a school in Civil Lines area here.

The cartridges were found by KVM school's bus staff when they brought students to school premises at about 8 am here, police said.

Station House Officer (SHO) Gurpreet Singh said cartridges belonged to different types of guns including those which could be used in AK-47 rifle. He said investigations are in progress.
