The Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial hospital in Pimpri saw a sudden rush of accident cases with five people injured in four different incidents on Tuesday night. The accidents took place at Narayangaon, Chikhali and Chinchwad between 10 pm and 12 am.
The accidents involving two-wheelers injured five persons including Vijaya Pargaonkar (35) and Kisanraj Ankalnekar (40) from Narayangaon, Parshuram Helwade (32) and Mutaba Akhsar (42) from Chikhali and Somnath Jadhav (30) from Chinchwad.
The on-duty doctors at the YCM hospital said, "Akhsar and Helwade's condition was serious. Jadhav received head injury."
