Singh, 53, was discharged on Sunday from the hospital near Rishikesh, 45 km from here, SP general secretary Vinod Barthwal said.
The SP leader was returning after campaigning in Pauri parliamentary seat when he complained of uneasiness near Rishikesh. He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where he underwent various tests, he said.
Doctors found that Singh, who had been involved in hectic campaigning, was suffering from dehydration, he said. However, since morning Singh was feeling good and doctors discharged him with an advise to drink water at regular intervals, Barthwal said.
