Amitabh Bacchan to flag off bike rally to spread awareness about tigers

In order to create awareness about Saving the Tigers, a bike rally has been organised during which bikers would be travelling from Mumbai to Nagpur in one week

In order to create awareness about Saving the Tigers, a bike rally has been organised during which bikers would be travelling from Mumbai to Nagpur in one week. Tiger Ambassador of Maharashtra and Superstar Amitabh Bacchan will flag off the bike rally on Saturday morning at 7 am from his office Janak in presence of Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantivar.


The bikers will travel from Mumbai on 24th October and will reach Nagpur on October 30. The 20 bikers belonging to an NGO from Mumbai and Thane would take part in the rally. During their journey they would travel and would create awareness about protecting the tigers and will also explain people about the importance of the same.


They would be visiting Melghat Tiger Reserve, Pench Tiger Reserve, Navegaon Nagzira Tiger Reserve and Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. They would start their return journey after TATR visit. The bikes have been painted with the colour similar to that of Tigers stripes and body colour.


The bikers would be giving information to public like the number of tigers in the state and country and why it is important to save them.
