Regarding future agenda, he said, "We have to reform electoral system and people should have the right to reject candidates in the ballot paper. If the majority says they do not like any of the candidates in the fray, the election should be cancelled. The government will have to think about the farmer's problems as well."

Later, Anna was driven straight to Medanta Medicity Hospital in Gurgaon, run by eminent cardiologist Dr Naresh Trehan, who was attending to him along with his team during the entire period of fast. He is on liquid diet now.

The winsome twosome
Anna Hazare decided to break his fast by accepting coconut water by the hands of two little girls, one of whom belongs to the reserved category of minority community. The girls, Ikrah and Simran, were the fortunate girls who served the coconut water to Anna.

Ikrah is a Class IV student in a government school in Daryaganj. Her family members hugged her when she came down the stage. They said she is shy and didn't know how to face the camera. Talking to media persons, she said, "Annaji asked me to study well. I promised him of getting good marks in exams." Meanwhile, her uncle Ahmed said she has brought glory to the family.

Ikrah's parents have been supporting Anna since April, when he sat on the strike for the first time at Jantar Mantar. Her father, Shakinmullah, has been coming to Ramlila Maidan since the first day of Anna's fast.u00a0
On Sunday Morning, Team Anna told him his daughter is the one who will serve Anna the coconut water to end his fast. "It was a proud moment," he said.
