BU earlier had 800 evaluators, but recently increased the number to about 1,600 and now promises to publish examination results within 22 days after the last exams is completed. The move to increase the number of evaluators comes at a time when the student strength remains unchanged. Every semester, BU has about 55,000 to 60,000 students registered with the university.

Vice Chancellor of BU, N Prabhudev, said, "Results will be out much sooner now, not that there has ever been a problem with results coming out late."
Students who are accustomed to waiting for at least two months for their results expressed relief at the decision of the revised deadline.
Rima Dennis, a student from Brindavan College, said, "This is great news. I think they should release the results quickly just like autonomous colleges."
Likewise, Ashish Scindia, a BU student, said, "This is quite refreshing to hear. Getting the results early saves time and we can apply for jobs or even other courses. Now we have to see whether they keep their word."
Whereas, Shefalika Mishra, a student from MS Ramaiah College, said, "They don't implement what they say. Results are always delayed and we have to wait for more than five weeks sometimes. I will be looking forward to see if they keep their word."
