The train left New Delhi at 7.40 a.m. Minutes later, the deputy station superintendent in the New Delhi station received an anonymous call about the bomb.
The train was stopped at the Narela railway station and all passengers were deboarded, a police officer said. The train was searched for three hours. When nothing was found, it was cleared to leave for Amritsar.
