The actress was on her way back to Mumbai after attending an event in the Capital. She alleged that while she was going through the security check, the guards instead of putting her LV handbag through the scanner, started frisking it and "shaking it violently".
"They shook it upside down, sideways, in every possible manner, rather than opening the zip and checking for the contents. By the time they sent it through the scanner the damage was already done. Not only did my LV bag get damaged, but my Blackberry and Ipod was badly scratched," the Bollywood babe said.
"My Bobby Brown cosmetics that included eye shadow and other stuff were shattered to pieces," she added.
However, the ordeal was not over till then. She objected to some guards allegedly misbehavingu00a0 with an 80-year-old woman. "The guards kept shoving and pushing other women. They were literally treating us like we were inmates in Tihar jail. It was really frustrating to see them misbehave with a 80 year old woman," the actress said.
When Celina reportedly confronted the superior officers she was told "ab sorry toh bol diya na, aur kya karein?"
"I know it's their job to make sure security is not breached, and I appreciate that, but this was no way to treat a passenger who's paid for her flight," Celina said.
Though there wasn't any major showdown at the airport post Celina's outburst, women around her were certainly appreciative about her courage to voice her displeasure.
