A day after actress Celina Jaitley accused the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) guards at the Delhi airport of misbehaving with her and damaging her luggage, the force hit back at the Bollywood babe rejecting the charges as "false and unfounded".
"The charges are false and baseless. Nothing of that sort happened. We have checked the CCTV footage too," a spokesperson for the central force told MiD DAY on Tuesday.
Celina had alleged that the CISF guards shook her Louis Vuitton bag, damaging the bag, her Blackberry phone and Ipod. She claimed that instead of putting the bag through the screening machine, they checked it manually.
She had also alleged that when she complained, the guards misbehaved with her as well as an 80-year-old co-passenger.
The spokesperson clarified that the actress did not put her bag properly on the baggage screening machine.
"It fell down. The personnel at the machine put it properly. Nothing else happened. We have checked the CCTV footage also," he said.
The escort provided to the actress by the Jet airways as she comes under the Commercial Important person (CIP) category has also denied any such incident, he added.
The force also rubbished charges of misbehaviour with the 80-year-old lady. "No, such incident happened," he added.
